What do a silent auction, an aerialist, and shimmering butterfly macarons have in common? They all were a part of a successful fundraiser for the American Cancer Society-Colorado Chapter! We were very fortunate this past November to partner with ACS for their annual fundraiser, the Butterfly Ball, which was held at Mile High Station.
Why the Butterfly Ball you ask? Monarch Casinos, located in Black Hawk, Colorado, was the title sponsor of the gala! We had the pleasure of working with the amazing events team from ACS as well as the marketing team from Monarch. We collaborated with the clients and their whimsical vision and were able to create a unique and custom menu that included a VIP cocktail hour, a three course plated dinner, and butterfly macaron favors for each guest. Guests enjoyed an aerialist who performed during cocktail hour, dinner and the program amidst gorgeous teal and purple shimmer linens, decor that fluttered, and delightful late night snacks while dancing the night away.
The catering production for this event was flawless. Our culinary team created the menu and photographed it for our event chefs to execute on-site and the three course dinner was produced from three plate up lines. Our service team successfully circled the room with three synchronized service teams, and fed the entire room in just under 13 minutes. Take a peek at the fabulous menu on the right side bookmark.
